AFSJ ExeCom officers together with Marian Jocelyn R. Tirol-Ignacio (Minister and Consul General), Andrea B. Leycano (Third Secretary and Vice Consul), Maria Bernardita A. Mathay (Commercial Counsellor)

On April 10, 2015, the new Executive Committee (ExeCom) of the Association of Filipino Students in Japan (AFSJ) paid a courtesy visit to the Embassy of the Philippines in Tokyo. H.E. Manuel M. Lopez, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Philippines to Japan, personally commends the Filipino students and alumni in Japan. He also expressed the willingness of the embassy to support the students through AFSJ.

The ExeCom were also given the opportunity to meet and discuss AFSJ’s visions and future plans with 3 other embassy officials; Marian Jocelyn R. Tirol-Ignacio (Minister and Consul General), Andrea B. Leycano (Third Secretary and Vice Consul), Maria Bernardita A. Mathay (Commercial Counsellor). They affirmed assistance and future collaborations with AFSJ. AFSJ is greatly honored for the opportunity and would like to express gratitude to the Embassy of the Philippines in Tokyo, Japan.
